Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air form an enchanting archipelago off the coast of Lombok. There are no dogs or monkeys on the islands — making this a uniquely peaceful world for free-roaming cats.
But without veterinary services or animal welfare knowledge, these cats face starvation, disease and accidents. LUNI Lombok exists to change that — through daily feeding, free medical care, sterilisation and community education.
Sterilisation is at the heart of cat welfare. By reducing uncontrolled breeding, we can help prevent overpopulation, reduce suffering and give cats a healthier future. Alongside our work with cats, we also support the welfare of other animals across the islands through medical care, education and access to essential resources.
Our vision is for a community where animals are healthy, protected and treated with compassion, and where people and animals can coexist harmoniously.

Pussy Patrol
Feeding approximately 1,000 island cats daily, providing drinking water, and monitoring the population for sick, injured or unsterilised animals in need of care.
Veterinary Clinics & Sterilisation Events
Two permanent clinics and regular pop-up events delivering free care, vaccinations and sterilisation for strays, with discounted services for low-income families.
Cat Café & Shop
A safe haven for kittens and disabled cats where visitors can meet them, enjoy great coffee, and pick up kitty-themed souvenirs — all supporting the charity.
Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation
Rescuing and rehabilitating injured or displaced wildlife across the Gili Islands and returning them to safe, protected habitats.
Cow Population Care
Monitoring the free-roaming cow population across the islands, providing essential veterinary care and access to clean drinking water.
Community Education & Support
Building animal welfare awareness through local education programmes, encouraging responsible cat ownership, fostering and adoption.

Amazing place where they provide healthcare to all type of animals across the island. Their cat café is so cute and rehabilitates cats with special needs or the ones ready to be adopted! Wir sind absolut begeistert von diesem Katzenauffangcenter. Die Menschen hier behandeln jede einzelne Katze mit unglaublich viel Liebe, Geduld und Hingabe. Sie kümmern sich um verletzte Tiere, die auf der Insel angefahren wurden, versorgen kranke Katzen medizinisch und setzen sich unermüdlich dafür ein, Straßenkatzen zu sterilisieren, um ihr Leid langfristig zu verringern. Man merkt in jedem Moment, wie sehr ihnen das Wohl der Tiere am Herzen liegt. Sie tun wirklich alles, was in ihrer Macht steht, damit es den Katzen besser geht und sie die Chance auf ein gesundes und sicheres Leben bekommen. Jeder, der die Insel besucht, sollte diesem Ort einen Besuch abstatten. Mit einem Besuch oder einer Spende unterstützt man Menschen, die Großartiges leisten und den Katzen ein besseres Leben ermöglichen. The best thing we did while in Gili T! So many beautiful and cuddly cats, we even got to see the clinic and the cats that need a little extra care which was such an insightful and emotional experience.
